RigVale is an independent gaming site. We publish game guides, reviews, news and PC setup advice, with a focus on the free-to-play, gacha and online games people actually sink hours into. Our promise fits in one line: we actually test it before we write about it.

Every game we cover gets its own game hub, so you can find our review, beginner guides, PC requirements and the latest news for that game in one place.

How we work

Reviews

We play the game ourselves before we score it. Each review opens with a short verdict, then breaks the score down into the criteria that matter for that particular game — world and atmosphere, combat, writing, performance, monetisation — so you can see where the final number comes from, not just the number.

Guides

Guides are written from our own play sessions and focus on what a new or returning player needs first: core systems, early priorities and the mistakes worth avoiding.

Setup & PC requirements

We start from the publisher's official system requirements and explain what they mean in practice — which parts matter, how much storage to plan for, and which settings to change first on modest hardware.

News

News stories link to their primary source (the publisher, developer or official channel) so you can check the original announcement yourself.

What our scores mean

Reviews are scored out of 10, shown in the orange ring on every review.

9.0–10Must-playAmong the best in its genre right now. Play it.
8.0–8.9ExcellentAn easy recommendation; the flaws are minor.
7.0–7.9GoodWorth your time if the genre is yours.
5.0–6.9MixedReal qualities, real problems — read the verdict first.
0–4.9Skip itNot worth your time or money in its current state.

Updates & corrections

Online games change constantly. When a patch or update makes an article out of date, we revise it and change its “updated” date. If you spot a mistake, we fix it.

How RigVale is funded

RigVale is free to read and is funded by advertising and affiliate links. Some “Play now” buttons are affiliate links: if you install or buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Those links are always labelled (“Contains affiliate links” / “Affiliate link”).

Partnerships never buy a score. Affiliate status has no effect on what we write, how we rate a game, or whether we recommend it.
